The Monte Sano Learning Center, Inc. is a lifelong learning organization, offering career oriented technical education and programs in leadership and professional development. Our Leadership Development program offers training and consulting in organizational management, cultural diversity and interpersonal communication. In partnership with the Huntsville / Madison County Chamber of Commerce, MSLC has developed a unique School to Career training program for School Counselors and Teachers. This unique program helps educators use modern technology to enable students to increase their career awareness and enhance career exploration and preparation skills. Using the Internet for Career Guidance and counseling, provides training for finding School-to-Career lesson plans, labor market statistics, exploration of career alternatives, and links to hundreds of other schools and sites to discover their best practices.

Marcy F. Lawton, Ph.D. is a behavioral biologist, consultant, writer and educator. She has designed training workshops for Fortune Five Hundred companies, including Bayer, McDonnell Douglas, and Hoechst Celanese, for the Army Corps of Engineers, for numerous agencies in the States of Alabama, Texas, and Virginia and for schools, businesses and non-profit agencies in Costa Rica. Dr. Lawton earned her doctorate at the University of Chicago and did her Masters work at Duke University.
